Maanorah · Hissedaar Types
Four ways to be a
Maanorah Hissedaar.
Choose the type that fits your situation. You can start as one type and transition to another as your engagement grows. Every type earns the same commission structure — what differs is how you interact with stock and customers.

Type 1 · Referral Hissedaar
Share. Refer. Earn.
Share करो। Refer करो। Earn करो।
You introduce Maanorah to people in your network — digitally, through your personal catalogue link. No physical stock ever leaves Maanorah. Every sale closes online or in Maanorah's store. You earn commission on every sale that traces back to your introduction.
What you do
Share. Introduce. Register.
Share your personal catalogue link. When an interested customer clicks it, they are registered to your account. Any purchase they make — now or later — earns you commission.
Stock held
None
You never hold physical pieces. Maanorah handles fulfilment, delivery, and returns directly. Your role is purely the introduction.
GST liability
None
You are earning commission on referrals — not selling goods. No GST registration required for commission income below the GST threshold.
Commission
Full tier rate
Same commission structure as all other types — L1: 5%, L2: 10%, L3: 10%+1% — on diamond and making components.
How a referral sale flows
1
You share the link
Send your personal catalogue link over WhatsApp, Instagram, or in person.
2
Customer browses
They browse the catalogue. Their account is registered to you automatically when they click your link.
3
They buy
Purchase online or at Maanorah's store. Maanorah handles payment, packaging, and delivery.
4
You earn
Commission calculated on diamond and making components. Credited to your portal account monthly.
Best for
Large WhatsApp / social network No space for physical stock Busy professional First 60 days (all new Hissedaars start here) Influencer or content creator
Important to know
All new Hissedaars begin as Referral type for the first 60 days — regardless of which type they eventually want to be. This is the trust-building phase. After 3+ successful sales and 60 active days, Stock and Approval types become available on application.
Type 2 · Stock Hissedaar
Curate. Show. Close.
Curate करो। दिखाओ। बेचो।
You hold a selection of Maanorah pieces physically — in your home, available to show customers in person. Maanorah retains full ownership of all pieces at all times. You are a custodian, not an owner. When a piece sells, Maanorah invoices the customer directly. You earn your commission.
What you do
Hold, show, and close.
Customers come to you — at home, at a trusted gathering, at a community occasion. They try pieces. You handle the showing. Maanorah handles the sale, invoice, and delivery.
Stock held
5–20 pieces
L1: up to 5 pieces. L2: up to 20. L3: negotiated. All pieces documented with photos at handover. Audit every 45 days. Maanorah owns all pieces — always.
GST liability
None
Because Maanorah retains ownership of all stock, you are not selling goods — you are facilitating a sale on behalf of Maanorah. GST is handled entirely by Maanorah on each invoice.
Commission
Full tier rate
Same structure as Referral. The advantage of Stock is higher closing rates — customers who try pieces in person buy significantly more often than those who only browse online.
How a stock sale flows
1
Pieces dispatched
Pieces photographed, documented in ERP, handed to you with certificates and price cards.
2
Customer visits
Customer comes to you. They try pieces with your display kit. You explain, answer questions, close.
3
Sale logged
You log the sale in your portal. Maanorah invoices the customer directly and confirms the purchase to them via WhatsApp.
4
Delivery and audit
Sold piece returned to Maanorah or delivered to customer from stock. Remaining stock audited every 45 days.
Best for
Someone with physical space at home Tight-knit community network High conversion preference (in-person demos) Traditional community contacts (40–55) Phase 2+ (60+ days, 3+ sales)
Key responsibility
Stock is Maanorah's property. Loss, theft, or damage of pieces in your custody is your liability under the Hissedaar Agreement. Pieces must be stored securely. For stock value above ₹50,000, insurance confirmation is required before dispatch.
Type 3 · Approval Hissedaar
Try first. Decide at home.
पहले try करो। घर पर decide करो।
You facilitate a "home trial" for customers — pieces go to the customer on approval for a defined window. They try them at home, show family, decide. If they want the piece, it's a sale. If not, it comes back to you, and then to Maanorah. No pressure on the customer at any stage.
What you do
Deliver, wait, collect or confirm.
You take a piece to a customer on approval. Agree a return window (typically 3–7 days). At the end of the window, they either confirm the purchase or return the piece to you.
Stock held
3–5 pieces temporarily
Small number of pieces at any time — either with you in transit, or with a customer on trial. Return window is agreed in writing at every handover.
GST liability
On confirmed sales only
When a customer confirms they want the piece, the sale is invoiced by Maanorah and GST applies — handled by Maanorah. Pieces that are returned incur no GST.
Commission
Full tier rate on confirmed sales
You earn your commission once the sale is confirmed — not when the piece goes out on approval. Returned pieces earn nothing (but have no downside either).
How an approval sale flows
1
Piece dispatched
Maanorah dispatches piece to you. Photographed, documented. Return window agreed in writing.
2
Customer trial
You deliver to customer. They wear it at home, show family. Window: 3–7 days, agreed upfront.
3
Decision day
Customer confirms purchase or returns piece to you. No pressure. Both outcomes are fine.
4
Close or return
Confirmed: logged in portal, Maanorah invoices, you earn commission. Returned: piece back to Maanorah. Clean cycle.
Best for
Customers who hesitate on high-value purchases Traditional family buyers (mother-in-law approval needed) Wedding purchases requiring family sign-off Converting stalling customers without pressure Phase 2+ Hissedaars with established trust
The most effective closing tool
The home trial removes the single biggest barrier to high-value jewellery purchase — commitment before certainty. "Take it home for three days, show your family, and decide" converts hesitant customers far more effectively than any discount. Combine Approval type with the discount authority for maximum effect on stalling customers.
Return discipline is critical
The agreed return window must be honoured. If a customer has not confirmed or returned within the window, you must collect the piece. Delayed collections damage Maanorah's audit cycle and are a warning-level event. Two late collections trigger a formal warning.
Type 4 · Exhibition Host Hissedaar
Host. Display. Build the room.
Host करो। Display करो। Community बनाओ।
You host or co-host a Maanorah jewellery exhibition — a curated event where multiple customers experience the collection together. Maanorah provides the display setup, certificates, and pricing. You provide the space, the network, and the occasion. All exhibition sales are managed by Maanorah at the event.
What you do
Host the event. Build the guest list.
Invite your network, provide a space, and host the occasion. Maanorah handles the display, catalogue, pricing, invoicing, and delivery. Your role is the community — the room full of people who trust you.
Stock held
Event set only
A curated selection of pieces comes for the exhibition and returns to Maanorah immediately after. You hold no stock before or after the event. All stock is fully documented and audited post-event.
GST liability
None
All exhibition sales are invoiced by Maanorah directly. You are the host, not the seller. No GST liability on your end for any exhibition sale.
Commission
Full tier rate on all event sales
You earn commission on every sale that closes at your exhibition — at your current tier rate. High-footfall events can generate significant commissions in a single day, making this the highest-leverage associate type for volume.
How an exhibition works
1
Plan together
Agree date, venue, expected guests. Maanorah selects and dispatches a curated exhibition set.
2
You host
Your network arrives. Maanorah team or you present pieces. Display kit, certificates, price cards all provided.
3
Sales at event
Interested customers place orders logged in the portal. Maanorah invoices and delivers — all handled centrally.
4
Post-event
Stock returned and audited. Commission on all event sales credited in the next monthly payout.
Best for
Well-networked in a community (Marwari / Jain / Reddy circles) Has space to host (home, office, community hall) Connected to kitty groups, ladies' clubs, religious gatherings Wedding season / festival season leverage L2+ Hissedaar with established Maanorah experience
The highest-leverage type for volume
A single exhibition with 20 guests and a 30% closing rate on a ₹50,000 average piece = 6 sales = ₹3 lakh in sales volume in one afternoon. At L1 commission, that is ₹2,250–4,500 earned in a day. At L2, ₹4,500–9,000. Planning and hosting an exhibition twice a quarter is often sufficient to maintain Khaas Hissedaar status.
Eligibility note
Exhibition hosting is preferred for L2+ Hissedaars with at least 3 months of active engagement. For new Hissedaars interested in exhibitions, a co-hosting arrangement with an experienced Hissedaar is possible — discuss with the Maanorah team.
